صدای صلح‌طلبی و نگران ما رااز انجمن نویسندگان کودک ونوجوان ایران به عنوان نهادی مستقل و مردمی می‌شنوید .اکنون صدای بازی و شادی کودکان بیش از هر زمان دیگری در غرش خمپاره‌ها، گلوله‌ها و بمباران‌ها گم شده است. کودکان قربانیان خاموش منازعات سیاسی، نظامی و مذهبی بزرگسالان در میدان های نبرد هستند. اگرچه جامعه‌ی ملل در الحاقیه‌ی پیمان‌نامه‌ی جهانی حقوق کودک بر منع به کارگیری کودکان در منازعات مسلحانه تأکید داشته است،اما این روزها شاهد به خاک وخون کشیدن کودکان خردسال و بی‌گناه زیر بمباران وحشیانه درغزه هستیم. نویسندگان کودک ونوجوان در برابر فجایع غیرانسانی اخیر سکوت و بی‌تفاوتی را جایز ندانسته و از همه‌ی انسان‌دوستان ومدافعان حقوق بشر می‌خواهد که برای جلوگیری از این فجایع اقدامی فوری ومؤثر نمایند.
ما نویسندگان کودک و نوجوان نگرانی عمیق خود را نسبت به وضعیت کودکان غزهاعلام می‌کنیم و خواهان توجه فوری و جدی جامعه‌ی بین‌المللی و به‌ویژه شخص دبیرکل به وضعیت خونبار کودکان جنگ‌زده در این سرزمین هستیم.کودکان نیازمند امنیت و آرامش هستند، نقض امنیت و حقوق بنیادین کودکان در سایه‌ی این جنگ نابرابر و کشمکش‌های نظامی تحت هیچ شرایطی و با هیچ استدلال و هیچ بهانه‌ای پذیرفته‌شده نیست. جناب دبیرکل، ما نویسندگان کودک و نوجوان، از شما می‌خواهیم با فوریت و جدیت بیش‌تری نسبت به این فجایع انسانی واکنش نشان دهید و برای جلوگیری از تداوم این وضعیت که منجر به کشته و زخمی شدن غیرنظامیان به‌ویژه کودکان و مادرانشان می‌شود،بی‌درنگ اقدامات لازم را انجام دهید.

Iranian Association of writers for Children and Youth Statement regarding to the current situation in Gaza

Dear Mr. Ban Ki-Moon,
Secretary General of United Nations
This is our peaceful and anxious voice from “Iranian Association of writers for Children and Youth” as one of the independent and public NGOs. Now, and more than any other time, the sound of children’s laughter and joy is lost among the roars of the mortars, bullets and the bombings. Children are the mute victims of political, military and religious disputes in the battlefields, even though the international community has emphasized that children should not be used within the armed wars in the World Convention on Children’s Rights. Despite this, these days we are witness how innocent small children are drowned in their own blood in Gaza and have been attacked with missiles and mortar shells.
The writers of children and youth find it indecent to keep silent and be indifferent towards these inhumane catastrophes, asking all the humanitarians and defendants of human rights to act immediately upon these tragedies for stopping them.
As writers of children and young adults we express our deep concern about the state of children in Gaza, demanding serious and prompt attention of the international community, in particular the General Secretary of UN- regarding the tragic situation of children in this land who are struck by war. Children need safety and peace, and violation of safety and children’s fundamental right in war and military tensions is unacceptable, no matter what.
We would like to ask you, as the secretary general of UN, to react immediately towards these inhumane tragedies, and make sure that necessary acts are done to stop, and further on avoid, the killing and harming the unarmed ones, in particular children and their mothers.
