Keivan Abidi Ashtiani

Translator

Kaivan Abidi Ashtiani born on December 23, 1956 in Tehran, Iran, is known as a literary translator of children and young adult books.

She has a BA degree in Business Management from Allameh Tabatabaei University.

Ms. Ashtiani is an active member of the Children’s Book Council of Iran (Iranian National Section of the International Board of Books for Young people/IBBY), since 1997; participated in workshops, member of writing and translation reviewing committees.

She is an award winning book translator for over 20 titles from English to Persian.

She has delivered presentations on various book titles and provided recommendations to a range of audience including the book critics, publishers, and the general public in many forums, exhibitions and formal interviews.
